FASHION FRIDAY | Pour un noeud | For a bow

Fashion is an eternal resuption, in spring/summer 2014 bows in the hair reappeared: scarves, headbands, clips, etc.. Hairstyles want to be retro-chic, a bit romantic, and I can not resist to this inspiration.

Child, I loved having a headband with a bow in my hair.
As a teenager, even having very short hair, I could have fun with scarves and other pieces of fabric.
Today, I fall back in love with scarves in the hair. Tied on the side, the silk gently caress your neck and I love this very girly effect on my rather short cut.

This hairstyle is very suitable for people like (lazy...) me or don't know or don't have time to do very sofisticated hairstyles and want to change one little thing in their routine.
Choose colorful scarves, patterned, long, short, anything goes!
The key words: having fun!

The scarf I'm wearing is a silk scarf by Christian Lacroix. This is the only square silk I have. I bought it in 2009 because I really wanted to have a pretty scarf tied in my hair for a wedding I attended. I had even shorter hair than today. I was inspired by a scene where the Gossip Girl character Serena Van Der Woodsen who wears a Chanel scarf in her hair at school.
I love the bright colors of this scarf: blue and fuchsia. The drawings remind me of a mix between Picasso and Dali: bulls, how are designed and arranged the flowers remind me a little the Impressionist period.
I love this mix of styles.
